In Recent years,
traditional Fitness programs have emphasized the
need for cardiovascular fitness, muscle development,
max strength, flexibility and nutrition but with
very little regard for postural health.
Today we find
ourselves and our children participating in many
hours of chair-born activity involving sitting in
front of computers, computer games, movies, TV,
longer periods in our cars, on the phone, airplanes
and generally becoming more sedentary. This
lifestyle generates chronic muscle imbalances
associated with pain and fatigue, nerve dysfunction,
decreased flexibility, and a lack of core and joint
stability.
We need to neutralize
these compromising effects and restore the
structural integrity of the muscular and skeletal
systems. This will greatly reduce the cause of
tissue overload and injury as you prepare a good
foundation to begin your fitness program. |
